ARCHES NATIONAL PARK

September 17 -  18, 2009

In Moab we parked by a race track.   It was just the other side of the fence we were facing. (to the left)

The sign said....Watch for Horses & People & Rabbits....The horses were on the other side of the fence.

We found a place to get ice cream.

Across the street from the ice cream was a thrift store where I found a sun hat.

Arches National Park is just a few miles from Moab and is my Favorite Park in Utah.

There are interesting formations as soon as you start up the road into the park.

Traveling through the park we found markers to explain what we were seeing.

The visitor center is way down to the left.  From on top of this rock you get a good view of the road up, and the Moab fault explained in the marker above.                              Anita, Hoyt, and Ron taking a picture.
